In my essay I commented on people's random posts about how their day was and so on, so now it's my turn. Yesterday, well, last night really, I purchased Guitar Hero II for the 360. Having never played the game before, yet having watched others play the game on the PS2, i thought to myself "look at these idiots." Now, I can hardly use the fingers on my left hand. I should have probably posted this post twice so you could all see how much trouble I am having typing.
The game is fantasmagorical. By far the most fun game I have purchased since Burnout 3, yet, its even more fun than that. I mean seriously, I get to play Freebird by Lynard Skinard, yet I don't know how to play the guitar at all. Also, there are plenty of songs that I haven't heard of before, but now I want to hear more songs from those artists.
Get this game if you have a PS2 or a 360... It is awesome. Thats the bottom line. My brothers and all the other people who made this game unobtainable for me... I HATE YOU ALL. But, now I know why the game was sold out the day after it was first released, as well as why I had to wait a month to buy it. (even the company that produces the game was sold out, unless a a customer wanted to pay 150 for 2 controllers and a game... which is not a bad deal, since I am considering buying another controller.)
I am awe stricken.

There is nothing better than finding a GREAT game. A game so good that you forget to eat. A game so entertaining that you forget about all of your worldly responsibilities. A game that you play for so long that you can no longer remember the last time that you slept.
Except for the potential carpal tunnel issues, I envy you. I have seen the commercial for this game and it looks great. I had no idea that it was available for the PS2, so thanks for the tip...
This may be a generational thing, but I remember when Pong was new. Yes we played it on our television (no cable--rabbit ears and all) with some Radio Shack gizmo. And I am not even that old. Glad you found a new hobby. Don't forget to eat (and finish your work this semester!)
the good news is... i can use my left hand again, the bad news, i am still playing during all my free time. That means between classes, before classes, during after and before meals. At the end of the day and all night. My record now is 9 hrs without any breaks. I have more then doubled my brothers scores in less then half the time.
hahahahahaha dude this is the best ever. Guitar Hero is amazing. I havent gotten the chance to play it on ps3 or 360 yet, but im sure that will change. Anyways im so down for deadrising and of course thpsp8(tony hawk pro skater project 8). those games rule
I feel your pain, my friend. I, too, am a Guitar Hero II addict.
As tired as I may be, I play a few songs before I go to bed...and I was away for a weekend and had complete withdrawals...LOL...seriously, I was wanting to get home so I could play again.
It's a game I want to see come out on the Wii (which we also own) so I can buy more songs...I also own Guitar Hero (not as good but provides some variety)...fun, fun, fun.
Soo much fun.
